  • Our offerings

    When you subscribe to Hälsocentralen, we will examine you regularly and systematically to identify any risk factors there might be and to prevent ill-health and disease. You will be assigned a physician as your primary contact. To have regular check-ups of your general physical status and get help with disease prevention is to choose a far-sighted health option unlike other kinds of solution that can only be used once a problem has arisen. We provide you with a personal physician, who will give you advice about your lifestyle choices to ensure that you avert ill-health and stay healthy, now and in the future.

    You will also be able to talk to a registered nurse on our advice health line (weekdays 8.00 am –11.30 am and 1.00 pm – 4.00 pm) or make an appointment with your physician (see price list). We will also help you with any standing prescriptions you need to renew.

    • We will always report your test results to you, even when everything is normal.
    • We examine and treat any medical problems we discover during your health assessment, and if necessary engage specialists inside or outside Sophiahemmet.
    • We provide access to a private physician (see price list).
    • We help with work-related certificates, drug tests and vaccinations.
    • We arrange contacts with working environment engineers, ergonomists or psychologists when needed.
    • We run a Health Advice Centre that provides advice on lifestyle and diet.
  • Corporate contracts – Healthy companies think ahead

    Our strength and our concept are to help prevent disease with regular and systematic health checks, which is a far-sighted health option unlike many other solutions that can only be used once a problem arises.
    The option enabling your employees to seek medical care between health assessments (see pricelist) guarantees patient-physician continuity. Each employee will have their “own” specialist physician, who will be their primary contact when the need for medical attention arises.

    Health assessments require either one or two sessions, and you send your personnel at the recommend intervals:

    • every three years for those under 40;
    • every other year for those between 40 and 50;
    • and once a year those over 50.

    We charge only for services rendered and we will contact you when it’s time for your employees’ next appointments. We do ask you, however, to appoint a contact person in your organisation to notify us twice a year, or continuously, about any changes to your staff and distribute the health assessment appointment notifications that we issue.

    All your employees are covered by the contract until the year they turn 67.
    All your employees will also have access to our nurse-based Health Advice Centre, which can help then to renew any standing prescriptions they have. We also provide vaccination advice and any necessary vaccinations, issue work-related certificates and carry out drug tests.

    Should our resources prove insufficient, we will refer the patient to specialist physicians inside and outside Sophiahemmet. When required, we also arrange contacts with working environment engineers, ergonomists, welfare officers or psychologists/psychotherapists on a consultancy basis.

    • The company contact person

      You are the link between us and your company. What we require from you is a twice-yearly updated list of employees’ names and civic registration numbers. We strive to establish a good dialogue between us in order to promote an effective collaboration and ensure that all employees are well-informed before they come to see us.

      We will send you appointment notifications during the year for the employees who are due for a health assessment, and ask you to distribute them to the right people and notify them of the date and time. If employees wish to switch appointments with each other, it’s vital that you notify us at least a day in advance. If an appointment is inconvenient and the employee cannot swap with a colleague, he or she is welcome to contact us to arrange a new one.

      In the event of a missed or cancelled (within 24 hours) health assessment, Hälsocentralen reserves the right to charge 50% of the fee. In the event of any other missed or cancelled (within 24 hours) appointment, Hälsocentralen reserves the right to charge 100% of the fee.

  • Health subscriptions

    Health subscriptions are for private individuals and smaller-sized companies and can be extended up to the year in which the person in question turns 67. The health subscription begins with a health assessment (see Health Assessments for details), after which our other services may be used for a period of 12 months (see price list). The subscription is then renewed and a new health assessment conducted.

    The difference between this and the corporate contract is that we will not automatically notify you or your staff of appointments, which means that you must contact the clinic yourself to arrange your health assessments.

  • Senior subscription

    In the year you turn 68 you can be covered by our special senior subscription. The Health Assessment – Senior package includes more extensive sample analyses and longer consultation times with the physician.

    The senior subscription begins with a health assessment (see Health Assessments for details), after which our other services may be used for a period of 12 months (see price list). The subscription is then renewed and a new health assessment conducted.

    The difference between this and the corporate contract is that we will not automatically notify you or your staff of appointments, which means that you must contact the clinic yourself to arrange your health assessments.
