Welcome to the nursing unit

Welcome to Sophiahemmet’s nursing unit. Here, our patients are looked after by our highly skilled nurses and nursing auxiliaries. We devote a lot of our time to our patients, and see to their needs with professionalism and kindness. Our aim is to give all our patients the world-class care they deserve.

The nursing unit takes in patients needing a day or two of post-operative care. We have 40 multi-purpose overnight (or longer, if necessary) beds for patients from the wide array of care providers at Sophiahemmet.

The nursing unit is uniquely situated with a forest outside the window and central Stockholm on its doorstep, and close to our six modern surgery units.

Our nurses and nursing auxiliaries are highly trained, and the patients have the same physician assigned to them throughout their stay. Our ambition is to devote time to our patients and provide them with world-class care in a friendly and personal environment.
